Blue Bird Dental has provided excellent dental care to the Kamloops community since 1967. We are a patient-oriented practice that builds lifelong relationships, and we have earned a reputation across Kamloops for one thing above all: thoughtful, efficient care with a strong focus on patient comfort.
Our Story
The practice was opened in Kamloops in 1967 by the original Dr. Armstrong. His two children, Dr. John Armstrong and Dr. Margaret Sutherland, carried the family practice into its second generation and continue to practice here today. Dr. Ash Kler joined in 2021, bringing nearly three decades of Vancouver experience, and together the team upholds the same values the practice opened with more than 50 years ago: taking care of each patient as a friend and a neighbour.
What has changed is the technology. Today Blue Bird Dental is equipped with same-day CEREC crown milling, cone beam 3D imaging, the Solea laser, and fully digital diagnostics, making us a modern dental practice equipped with technology selected to support diagnosis, treatment planning, efficiency and patient comfort.
