Little Cleanings, Big Foundations

A child's cleaning is more than a small version of an adult's. It is a growth check, a habit lesson, and a trust-building exercise, all disguised as counting teeth.

What Happens at a Kids' Visit

The tour first. New instruments get introduced by name ("Mr. Whistle," the tooth counter) before they go anywhere near a mouth. Gentle cleaning and polish. Plaque and early tartar removed with kid-sized instruments and flavoured polish they get to choose. The growth exam. We track erupting teeth, spacing, bite development and habits like thumb-sucking, catching orthodontic questions years before they become orthodontic bills. Ortho Screenings Fluoride, as indicated. A quick professional application that strengthens young enamel. Fluoride The coaching. Brushing technique practised with the child, not just described to the parent.

How Often, Starting When

First visit by age one, then every six months. Regularity matters more for children than adults: baby-tooth decay moves fast, and familiar visits are what keep the dentist boring, which is exactly what we want.

For the Wiggly and the Worried

Short attention spans and big feelings are our daily craft. Morning appointments, unhurried pacing, and a genuinely patient team turn most reluctant patients into kids who run for the chair.
